With just that – on one little t-shirt – our 100 languages t-shirt. We want to demonstrate that no matter who you are, where you come from, or how much money you make, we can all share a message, a word, or a meaning, in one space, on one little t-shirt.

Look at us, each of us being one of 7.8+ billion tiny specs hurtling through space on this big beautiful rock, in a vast and infinite universe. You. Me. Us. Everyone. Each of us, uniquely different, but intrinsically the same. The tiniest child in the tiniest village, the biggest persona in Hollywood, everybody contributing to make up the fabric of humanity; all experiencing love and disappointment, loss and frustration, joy and loneliness.

100 Languages T-Shirt believes humans are essentially the same. We want the same things. We need the same things.

Our project was born from the desire to provoke thought and global unity by bringing our global community together in one space, represented on our little t-shirt. We may speak different languages, but our message is the same.

We are not pretending to be linguistics experts, or provide a lesson in linguistics, and we may even get some translations wrong. We want merely to demonstrate and celebrate how 7.8+ billion people on this planet can have 100s if not 1000s of different languages but say the same thing. We want to demonstrate that no matter who you are, where you come from, or how much money you make, we can all share a message, a word, or a meaning, in one space.
